Charts Episodes Planets and Stars Home

I have always had an interest in the planets and stars and followed the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions which culminated in the successful moon landings. Just after Apollo 11, Star Trek aired in black and white in the United Kingdom. I was hooked. 'Is this the future of space exploration?' I wondered. I continued to follow the Space Shuttle missions and the probes to the Sol system planets and beyond. When Geoffrey Mandel's STAR TREK STAR CHARTS came out in 2002 I was fascinated to see how he had fitted the Milky Way Galaxy to the Star Trek universe, hence this addition to my web site.

LNCo = coordinates from Star Trek Stellar Cartography by Larry Nemecek Alpha and Beta Quadrant charts. X,Y in upper case = square from the left, Y = 1 to 21 downwards. 0,0 = Sol System. Where there is a discepancy in the title of the star or space phenomenum with Star Trek Charts by Geoffrey Mandel, this has been indicated.
Coor = coordinates in Alpha and Beta Quadrants and Bajoran wormhole exit in Gamma Quadrant. X,Y in upper case = square from 0,0.X = Z to U to the left, A to T to the right. Y = A to E upwards, Z to N downwards.
On II, KNOWN PLANETS from Sol System in centre of circles. a or b,a to q in lower case. a or b = Alpha or Beta Quadrant, a to q = ring from the centre.
For Delta Quadrant, Route Of U.S.S. Voyager (I) - VII, page pairs 82/83 - 94/95, X = A to M across the top and Y = A (half square) to V (half square) downwards.
