hover robot. Flying machines under the control of the amusement park computer. They were triangular, with a retractable tentacle with a manacle at the end from each apex. One took Uhura's communicator and captured her and two of them handcuffed her when she attempted to disconnect the computer. One abducted Spock into the underground control room. (Once Upon a Planet. Enterprise encounters a ship in the shape of a winged serpent, which turns out to be Kulkukan, a god of ancient Mayan-Aztec legend. Kulkukan is actually a very long-lived benevolent entity that wants the humans to worship him just as the Mayans and Aztecs did. Huron, S.S. Federation cargo vessel, registry number NCC-F1313 that was carrying dilithium. It was contacted to relay the strobolin drug delivered to it by the Potemkin for onward transmission to the Enterprise. In was intercepted by the Orion pirates who stole all its cargo. When found by the Enterprise, the crew was rescued but the ship was left as "space junk". (The Pirates of Orion. [TAS]).

hyper-gravity. En route to Questar M-17 the Enterprise is uncontrollably drawn by a force which Spock describes as hyper-gravity. He postulates it is like a negative star mass and it turns out to be a dead star. (Beyond the Farthest Star. [TAS]).
